Today, we had the honor of receiving His Excellency Mr. Lim Soosuk, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Spain, who made an official visit to the Center for Neurological Disease Research (CIEN), at the Alzheimer’s Center Fundación Reina Sofía.

During the tour, the ambassador was accompanied by the Secretary of Fundación Reina Sofía, Mr. José Luis Nogueira, the Scientific Director of CIEN, Dr. Pascual Sánchez-Juan, and the Manager, Mrs. Mª Ángeles Pérez, who provided a comprehensive overview of the collaborative work being carried out by both institutions.

Ambassador Lim Soosuk had the opportunity to see firsthand the facilities and research platforms dedicated to the study and advancement of treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular focus on Alzheimer's. The visit concluded with a presentation on the ongoing scientific projects and a detailed explanation of the technologies and resources that make up our research platforms.

He also had the chance to engage in discussions with researchers and professionals leading various initiatives, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in combating these diseases.

At CIEN, we deeply appreciate Mr. Lim Soosuk's interest and support for our work, reaffirming our shared commitment to improving the well-being of individuals affected by neurodegenerative diseases.
