The 8th Memorables Film Festival Updates Its Participation Rules

The 8th Memorables Film Festival has introduced an amendment to its participation rules with the aim of expanding opportunities for participation and ensuring a more diverse and representative final selection.
Following the publication of the rules for this 8th edition and during the process of receiving and reviewing submissions, the organisation has considered it appropriate to relax some of the criteria initially established, taking into account the interest and quality of the works received.
One of the main changes concerns the maximum duration of short films, which has been extended from the 13 minutes initially established to a maximum of 20 minutes. This extension will allow the festival to include works that, despite slightly exceeding the original limit, are of particular interest due to their quality and the way in which they address neurodegenerative diseases and their impact on patients, families and society.
The criterion regarding the language of the works has also been amended. From now on, short films produced in any language may be submitted, provided that they include Spanish subtitles.
With this amendment, the Memorables Film Festival aims to accommodate a greater number of stories and perspectives, expanding opportunities for creators and enriching the selection for this 8th edition.
