From Monday, May 5th to Friday, May 9th, the Student Council of the Faculty of Sciences presents Science Week—a week dedicated to scientific outreach, filled with activities, workshops, and visits designed to help you broaden your knowledge and experience science up close ✨.
Among the featured activities:
- 🔬 Workshop: What do entropy and cerebral amyloid angiopathy have in common?

- 👥 Elizabeth Lucia Valeriano Lorenzo, Mario Ricciardi Sierra, and Alicia Uceda Heras (Department of Pathological Anatomy)
This workshop will address progression as an indicator of change and the methods used for its quantification. We will explore how a physical concept like entropy can contribute to the analysis of a biological entity, and delve into the multidisciplinary methods used to tackle scientific research questions.
