MILE POPULAR Villa de VALLECAS 2025 for Alzheimer's research

On Sunday 11 May 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the ‘Milla Popular Villa de Vallecas’ will be held in the district of Vallecas, organised by the Villa de Vallecas district.

The Milla Popular de Villa de Vallecas is much more than a race. It is an open, inclusive and supportive event that brings together neighbours, families, athletes and people of all ages for a common cause: to take steps towards a future without Alzheimer's disease.

In this 2025 edition, the mile will be run for a very special reason: to support research into Alzheimer's, a disease that affects millions of people and which needs visibility, commitment and resources to make progress towards a cure.

This event combines sport with solidarity, emotion with social awareness, and transforms every stride into an act of support in this free event.

A mile is only 1,609 metres, but every one of them has the power to make a difference. Run, walk or join in... the important thing is to be there.
